Fulltext search- To obtain a more general result the wild cards: * a ? can be used. Character * expresses an arbitrary character string, character ? an arbitrary character.
- In formulating an inquiry the logical operators: AND, OR, NOT can be used. By using the AND operator the documents including all the words to which the AND operator is submitted will be found.
- By using the OR operator (a possible equivalent being the character comma:,) the documents including any of the words searched for will be found to which the OR operator is submitted. Operator NOT enables a negative of the inquiry submitted to be created.
- To define more complicated logical conditions a bracket (parenthesis) can be used.
- In formulating an inquiry also a phrase definition can be used. In this case the phrase must be provided with quotation marks.
- The search does not differ capital from small letters and diacritical marks.

?ine -> documents including the words consisting of four letters and ending in 'ine' will be found
